Implementation

Implementation is scoped to you, not a flat fee.

Getting value from Atlas means connecting your sources and configuring it to your domain. That work differs by organization, so we scope it — rather than quote a number that fits no one.

Two questions, not one ladder

How much intelligence — and where it lives.

Atlas has two independent axes. One is how much intelligence capability you need. The other is where your organizational intelligence should live. They are answered separately — deployment never changes what Atlas can do.

Intelligence capability

How much Atlas intelligence do you need?

  1. Atlas BD
  2. Atlas Enterprise
  3. Atlas Enterprise+

The plans above. Start where the value is obvious and expand into institutional intelligence when you are ready.

Deployment & sovereignty

Where should your organizational intelligence live?

  1. Atlas Cloud
  2. Atlas Private Node
  3. Atlas Private Enterprise

From managed Atlas Cloud to a private on-premise appliance. Optional, and independent of the plan you choose.

These two questions are answered independently. Deployment never unlocks or restricts software features — a BD customer on a private node still has Atlas BD, and an Enterprise customer on Atlas Cloud still has full Enterprise.

Directional
Private deployment

Your intelligence. Your infrastructure.

Atlas Private Node is pre-configured, dedicated Atlas hardware deployed in your office or private environment — designed for greater physical and architectural control over your proprietary intelligence environment. It is optional; Atlas Cloud is the natural default, and its value grows as Atlas learns how your organization thinks.

Atlas BD — the world is the data source

  1. Outside world
  2. Sources
  3. Signals
  4. Opportunities
  5. Research
  6. Outreach
  7. Deal log

Primarily outward-facing intelligence. Atlas BD continuously reaches outward — public web, commercial sources, CRM, email, contact discovery, selected AI services — to identify opportunities. Cloud is the natural choice for many BD customers, so private deployment stays optional.

As Atlas learns how your organization thinks

Atlas Enterprise — your organization's own judgment

  1. Evidence
  2. Judgment
  3. Decision
  4. Action
  5. Outcome
  6. Learning
  7. Institutional memory

Proprietary institutional intelligence. Atlas Enterprise increasingly holds something different — your evidence, judgments, decisions, assumptions, rejected alternatives, outcomes, and institutional memory. As that accumulates, where the intelligence lives matters more.

The more uniquely yours the intelligence becomes, the more valuable control becomes.

Lower sovereignty sensitivity

  • Public articles
  • Company websites
  • Industry news
  • Government publications
  • Public market information
  • External opportunity signals

Higher sovereignty value

  • Customer documents
  • Investment & acquisition theses
  • Internal evidence
  • Partner & executive judgments
  • Decision records
  • Assumptions & confidence
  • Rejected alternatives
  • Outcome history
  • Institutional memory
  • Organizational learning
Deployment

Private deployment options.

Atlas can run as a cloud service or with dedicated, pre-configured hardware deployed in your office or private environment. Private deployment provides an additional layer of control for organizations that want sensitive intelligence, judgment, or organizational memory to remain closer to the enterprise.

Atlas BD → cloud deployment will often be sufficient

Atlas BD reaches outward — public sources, commercial data, CRM, and email — to find opportunities, so Atlas Cloud is the natural default and no dedicated hardware is required.

Atlas BD + Judgment → private deployment may become more valuable

As Atlas becomes a repository for proprietary decision logic, institutional memory, and sensitive internal context, keeping that intelligence on dedicated infrastructure becomes more valuable.

Do I need Atlas hardware?

No. Atlas BD and Atlas BD + Judgment can operate without dedicated hardware. Private hardware is an option for organizations that want additional sovereignty, local processing, or control over particularly sensitive institutional information.

Atlas Private Node hardware pricing is directional and shown as “starting at” while the reference configuration is finalized. Private deployment is optional and does not add a second recurring Atlas software subscription.

One appliance for the organization, not per person

Atlas Private Node is an organizational intelligence appliance. A firm might place one appliance in its principal office, where multiple authorized team members securely share the same Atlas environment. The organization owns its institutional intelligence.

On-premise does not mean disconnected

Atlas Private Node is designed to work within a hybrid architecture. Some workflows inherently reach external services; other information is uniquely yours. The principle: move intelligence toward your information rather than unnecessarily moving your information toward Atlas.

Start in the cloud. Add a private node later.

Begin on Atlas Cloud with nothing to install, and introduce an Atlas Private Node appliance when greater control becomes worthwhile.

Start with Atlas BD + a private node. Activate Enterprise when ready.

Your Atlas Private Node appliance stays in place as you activate Atlas Enterprise on the same architecture — you do not repurchase hardware to upgrade capability.

Deployment & capability are independent

Where Atlas can run, at every plan.

Deployment is a separate axis from capability. Choosing a private node or private-enterprise deployment changes where your intelligence lives, not what Atlas does.

Deployment availability across Atlas plans. Deployment does not change software capability.

Atlas Private NodeOptionalOptionalOptional
Atlas Private EnterpriseScopedAvailableAvailable

Atlas Cloud is included with every plan. Atlas Private Node is an optional one-time appliance; Atlas Private Enterprise is scoped per engagement. Trust and confidentiality apply to every deployment — Atlas Cloud is a secure, professionally operated choice, while private deployment adds further customer-controlled infrastructure for organizations that need it.

Appliance lifecycle

Atlas Care keeps the appliance managed, so you manage the intelligence.

Software capability and deployment are the two axes of the Atlas model. Atlas Care is the third layer beneath them — the lifecycle program that keeps an Atlas Private Node appliance running as managed infrastructure. It is included for the first year with every Atlas Private Node appliance, and it is not a separate software tier.

Atlas Care

Your appliance. Our responsibility.

Atlas Private Node is designed to operate as infrastructure, not another piece of technology your team has to manage. Atlas Care supports the appliance lifecycle so your organization can focus on the intelligence it contains rather than maintaining the hardware underneath it.

One year of Atlas Care is included with every Atlas Private Node appliance. Continued Atlas Care options will be available after the included first year.

Monitor

Atlas Care is designed to monitor the health of the appliance environment without requiring access to the customer’s underlying proprietary intelligence.

Maintain

Atlas manages the Atlas Private Node software and configuration lifecycle, including controlled, managed updates.

Support

If an appliance problem occurs, Atlas helps diagnose and resolve issues in the Atlas Private Node environment.

Recover

If hardware replacement becomes necessary, Atlas is designed to help restore your Atlas environment onto replacement infrastructure using the applicable backup and recovery architecture.

You use Atlas Private Node. You do not administer it.

If an Atlas Private Node appliance develops a hardware problem, your team should not become server technicians. Atlas helps diagnose the appliance and, where replacement is appropriate, helps restore your Atlas environment onto replacement hardware.

Support is not a substitute for backup.

Atlas Private Node resilience combines appliance reliability, appropriate backup architecture, and recovery capability. Atlas Care supports the appliance environment — it is not a substitute for an appropriate backup strategy.

Questions

Pricing, plans, and how Atlas grows with you.

What is Atlas?

Atlas is a customer-controlled intelligence layer. It watches the sources that matter to you, reasons over what changes, and surfaces only what deserves attention — then helps you act. You can start with a focused application like Atlas BD and expand into an institutional intelligence operating system for your whole organization.

What is the difference between Atlas BD and Atlas Enterprise?

Atlas BD is a complete application that does a job: it turns intelligence into pipeline. It uses Atlas reasoning and judgment internally to prioritize and recommend. Atlas Enterprise adds the institutional Judgment Layer on top — persistent decision records, institutional memory, and organizational learning — so judgment across the whole organization compounds over time, not just within business development.

Does Atlas BD include AI and judgment?

Yes. Atlas BD is a full Atlas application — it uses Atlas reasoning and judgment internally to score fit, prioritize opportunities, and recommend action with evidence. What Atlas Enterprise adds is the institutional Judgment Layer that spans the whole organization: persistent decision records, memory, and organizational learning. Atlas BD’s boundary is scope and institutionalization, not weaker reasoning.

Why doesn’t Atlas BD have an implementation fee?

Atlas BD is a standardized, self-configuring application, so onboarding is included at no additional cost — you connect your sources and it configures itself to your domain. Atlas Enterprise establishes a broader institutional intelligence environment across many sources, systems, and functions, which is scoped work — that is why it carries an implementation from $15,000.

What does Enterprise implementation include?

Enterprise implementation establishes your organization’s initial intelligence operating environment: connecting your sources and systems, configuring the Judgment Layer to how your organization decides, shaping information architecture and workflows, governance, and any data migration and deployment requirements. It scales with scope, which is why it starts at $15,000 rather than a single flat fee.

Can I start with Atlas BD and upgrade later?

Yes — that is the intended path. Start with a focused application that pays for itself, then expand into institutional intelligence when you are ready. Everything you configure in Atlas BD carries forward; Atlas Enterprise builds on it rather than replacing it.

Can Atlas connect to our CRM?

Yes. Atlas BD integrates with common CRM and deal-log systems, reading from and writing back to them so it fits your existing workflow. Atlas Enterprise and Enterprise+ add custom integrations and API access for the broader set of systems you run.

Does Atlas replace our existing software?

No. Atlas is an intelligence layer that sits alongside the systems you already run — CRM, deal logs, email, and document stores. It reads from and writes back to them where that helps, so Atlas augments your stack rather than replacing it.

What is Atlas Private Node?

Atlas Private Node is pre-configured dedicated Atlas hardware deployed in your office or private environment. It gives you greater physical and architectural control over where your proprietary intelligence is processed and retained. It is one axis of the Atlas model (where your intelligence lives), separate from capability (how much Atlas you run). It is offered as a one-time purchase plus your applicable ongoing software/support subscription, and does not add a second recurring Atlas software subscription. Hardware pricing is directional while the reference configuration is finalized.

Is private hardware required?

No. Atlas BD and Atlas BD + Judgment can operate without dedicated hardware — Atlas Cloud is the natural default, especially for Atlas BD, where much of the intelligence workflow inherently reaches outward to public sources, commercial data, CRM, email, contact discovery, and selected AI services. Private hardware becomes more valuable as you accumulate proprietary institutional intelligence in Atlas Enterprise, where where that intelligence lives matters more.

Is Atlas Private Node one appliance per person?

No. Atlas Private Node is an organizational intelligence appliance — the primary architecture is one appliance in your principal site that multiple authorized team members securely share, not a personal box for every executive. The organization owns its institutional intelligence.

Does choosing private deployment change what Atlas can do, or cost more per month?

No. Deployment and capability are independent: a BD customer on a private node still has full Atlas BD, and an Enterprise customer on Cloud still has full Enterprise. Choosing private deployment does not unlock or restrict software features and does not add a second recurring software subscription — the appliance is an optional one-time purchase. If you upgrade from BD to Enterprise later, your Atlas Private Node appliance stays in place; you do not repurchase it.

Does on-premise mean disconnected?

No. Atlas Private Node is intended as part of a hybrid architecture. Some Atlas workflows inherently interact with external services — public information sources, commercial data providers, CRM, email, contact discovery, and selected AI/model providers — while other information is uniquely proprietary to you. The architectural principle is to move intelligence toward your information rather than unnecessarily moving your information toward Atlas. This is a direction, not an absolute technical guarantee, and we will confirm specifics with you during scoping.

Where does our information live?

With Atlas Cloud, Atlas runs as a professionally operated managed service and your data remains yours — isolated to your organization and access-controlled. Atlas Private Node is designed to let the intelligence that is uniquely yours sit closer to you on a customer-premise appliance, as part of a hybrid architecture. Atlas Private Enterprise extends this into larger-scale customer-controlled infrastructure for the most sensitive environments. We do not promise specific encryption, offline operation, or residency behavior beyond what is implemented, and we will walk through the current architecture with you during scoping.

Can Atlas work with private company information?

Yes. Beyond public sources, Atlas can incorporate your private and customer information — documents, correspondence, and system data — so its reasoning reflects what your organization actually knows. Within Atlas BD this operates in the business-development context; Atlas Enterprise extends it across the organization through the institutional Judgment Layer.

How does Atlas protect organizational confidentiality?

Atlas keeps each organization’s intelligence separate and access-controlled, with enterprise controls such as SSO and governance available at the Enterprise tier. Confidentiality boundaries are enforced so one team’s or client’s information is not exposed to another, and for the most sensitive environments Atlas Private Node and private-infrastructure deployment are designed to keep data within your own boundary. We will walk through our current security and trust practices with you directly.

What is Atlas Care?

Atlas Care is the support and lifecycle-management program for Atlas Private Node appliances. It is designed to reduce the need for customers to administer the underlying appliance themselves — covering appliance health monitoring, Atlas Private Node software and configuration maintenance, managed updates, and support if an appliance issue occurs. It is not insurance, a warranty extension, or a software tier.

Is Atlas Care included?

One year of Atlas Care is included with every Atlas Private Node appliance. Continued coverage options will be available after the first year. We are not publishing a Year 2+ price yet — hardware support economics are still being validated through initial deployments.

What happens if my Atlas Private Node hardware fails?

Atlas Care is designed so customers do not have to troubleshoot appliance hardware themselves. Atlas will help diagnose appliance issues and, where replacement is appropriate, support restoration of the Atlas environment onto replacement hardware. We will confirm the applicable commercial terms with you during scoping rather than promise a specific replacement outcome for every circumstance here.

Does Atlas Care back up my data?

Appliance support and data resilience are related but distinct. Atlas Care supports the appliance environment; it is not a backup product. Atlas Private Node deployments should use an appropriate backup and recovery architecture based on your requirements, which we will design with you. Atlas Private Node resilience combines appliance reliability, appropriate backup architecture, and recovery capability — not the physical appliance alone.

Do I need an IT person to manage Atlas Private Node?

Atlas Private Node is being designed as managed organizational infrastructure rather than a traditional customer-administered server. The objective is a preconfigured appliance requiring minimal local administration. Depending on your network and security environment some local involvement may still be needed, and we will confirm what applies to you during scoping.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us what your team is trying to do. We will point you to the plan that gets you there — usually Atlas BD to start, then Enterprise when you are ready to institutionalize.
