The thesis

That reasoning is the most valuable asset an institution owns, and it is the one asset almost no system captures. It lives in people, and it leaves when they do. The Institutional Intelligence Operating System (IIOS) exists to change that: to make institutional reasoning a durable, governed, architectural asset.

What IIOS is

Design principles
- Reasoning is the asset. The architecture is organized around capturing and reusing judgment, not just documents or data.
- Reference, never copy. Institutional knowledge points to authoritative sources so it stays true as they change.
- Governed by default. Access, attribution, residency, and auditability are architectural, not bolted on.
- Meet enterprises where they are. From managed cloud to air-gapped and sovereign, the same architecture deploys within existing constraints.
